PRODUCT TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE
I used to photograph all things handmade and things I loved. I really enjoyed staging, styling and working out all kinds of ideas around product photography. If I look back, I am able to see that there is a certain theme which is my go-to-style and that's everything must be light and simple.
As time passed by, my style also evolves and there are some small changes from time to time. Not much, but there is a notable shift. Especially in portrait photography. I have come to appreciate the use of dark colours and strong contrasts.
I grew up loving silver as it felt very light and clean, but growing up in a renaissance inspired home. It was inevitable. that I too, would see the beauty in all that gold and shine. Some say gold objects at home are kitch, but kitch is the new cool. t's old-skool and seventies chiq.
I've always been creative and love making things by hand. My latest venture was to paint my own jewellery dishes, oyster- and heart shells with real gold leaf. I think they're beautiful, elegant and romantic. Their shape, colour and vintage feel, makes them the perfect as a jewellery dish or home decor.
I made them with the idea to be used as an jewellery dish for rings, earrings necklaces or any other treasure that holds a special place close to your heart. It was designed with a purpose, but it can also be used as a simple, but chiq decor piece in your treasured home. Such as your dressing table, chimney or coffee table.
