Sooow, here we are again! Just finished up another shoot, this time we had Mr. Daniël from Amsterdam in front of the camera.
This next generation actor is all about the arts. On stage art and off stage with his own clothing label The Frank. This multi talent is building a bright future for himself and we're curious to know how this will look like in a few years.
We met Daniel online, he had an add saying that he was looking for a photographer for a collab. That day I felt like taking a risk and boy did this pay off ;)
He wanted to shoot for a set-card to be able to promote himself as an actor, but was also very much open for other styling ideas I might have. So, naturally my mind exploded with ideas and we ended up shooting for a few hours and as we progressed, he started to loosen up more and really got into his own character and the result of that shoot is amazing!

I wanted to create strong masculine looks. A man who's streetwise with a bit of air and mystery surrounding him. So, I opted for some dramatic studio lighting. Asked Daniël to give me a little arrogant head tilt and fierce eye contact. The mood on set was very relaxed though, we joked, laughed and were all at ease. Which in the end resulted in a great collaboration and even better photo's.
